A Space for my Heart

Welcome to A Space for my Heart: A Confidently Heterosexual romance. This is a collaboration between myself, Dave Littler (DA, YouTube, LJ), and the proud but mysteriously anonymous proprietor of Kenjisartdump, on DA and Tumblr. In large part, I’m doing the writing, with frequent creative input and collaboration on his part, and he’s providing the lineart, with my colours and visual effects.

Each thursday will see a new chapter in this saga of love and romance between Homestuck’s One True OTP; Dirk Strider and Kanaya Maryam. In addition to the actual text of the story, each week will see a minimum of one full-colour illustration of at least the quality of the title page seen here. Many - perhaps even the majority - of which will be NSFW, as indeed will be much of the story itself, and so we strongly suggest that you quit your jobs so as to save yourself from the eventual pain and humiliation of being fired. Be the master of your own fate, aside from the sense in which you do something other than what we’re telling you to.

The events of the story diverge from those of Homestuck at this page , as that is where the story was when we began work on it. We would therefore suggest and insist that you adjust your headcanon in such a way as that anything following that page in Homestuck proper is a doomed timeline, and this fic is canon proper from this point forward.

Feel free to ask us anything. We may or may not answer, depending upon whether or not we feel that doing so would be entertaining or informative. Mostly the former.
